Award Painting Pty Ltd has painted Sydney homes, commercial premises and strata buildings since 2007, with over 20 years of workmanship behind the brush. Every job carries Painting and Decorating Contractors Licence 222321C and $20M public liability insurance, and the business holds membership of both Master Painters Australia and the Housing Industry Association.
The work spans interior and exterior repaints, commercial and strata projects and 10 specialty coating services. It is all held together by 1 rule: the finish is decided in the preparation, so preparation is the part of the job we never compress.
How we work
Most painting complaints trace back to what happened before the paint: surfaces left unwashed, furniture left exposed, colour picked in a rush under shop lighting. So on every job the sequence is fixed. Floors are covered with canvas drop sheets, cabinetry is wrapped, furniture is masked and edges are taped before a single tin is opened.
Colour is settled before painting starts, never during it. Every quote includes a colour consultation valued at $275, free, because choosing a colour before the first coat costs nothing and changing it after the last coat costs a repaint.
The photos here are from real Award Painting jobs, exactly as our clients see them mid-project. They show the part of the work nobody photographs for brochures and every clean finish depends on.

We paint across Sydney's upper North Shore and the Hornsby district, working within roughly 15 km of Hornsby. A tight service area means short travel, reliable start times and quotes given after a proper walkthrough rather than over the phone.
