Preparation
Furniture protected, surfaces washed, sanded, filled and primed. Cracks, flaking paint and water marks are fixed properly, not hidden.
Licensed painters since 2007 · Hornsby & Upper North Shore
Award Painting is a licensed, fully insured painting company for interiors, exteriors, heritage homes, strata buildings and commercial spaces across the Upper North Shore. Proper preparation, a fixed price in writing and a finish you will be proud of.
What we stand for
Most paint jobs fail at preparation, not at the brush. We spend the time on the parts you never see, so the parts you do see last for years.
Furniture protected, surfaces washed, sanded, filled and primed. Cracks, flaking paint and water marks are fixed properly, not hidden.
Premium paints from trusted Australian brands, clean cut lines, even coverage and the right sheen for every room and surface.
We turn up when we say we will, keep your home tidy every day and leave it cleaner than we found it. Communication is part of the job.

Why Award Painting
NSW Painting and Decorating Licence 222321C, $20M public liability and membership of Master Painters Australia and the Housing Industry Association. Check the licence on the NSW register; do not take our word for it.
Every quote lists the surfaces, preparation, products and number of coats. If prep takes longer than we allowed for, we carry that cost. No variations on the invoice.
Floors sheeted, cabinetry wrapped, furniture masked and edges taped before a single tin is opened. Same crew from start to finish, tidy every evening.
Colour is settled before painting starts, never during it. We brush out samples on your own walls and check them in morning and afternoon light.

Included with every quote
Choosing colour from a tiny chip under shop lighting is how people end up with the wrong white. We build the scheme around your light, your floors and fixed elements, then brush out the shortlisted colours on your actual wall and check them in morning and afternoon light. You get specific named colours, not vague advice.
